January has been a bit rough regarding fresh snow. However we got lucky with a little refresher just prior to our stretch off. We decided to set out for Herman and Dry Gulches on consecutive days. Both provided us with amazing days and surprisingly excellent snow conditions. We found some excellent north facing terrain with untouched deep conditions in both gulches. Cant wait to re-visit Herman Gulch in more stable conditions:)
